Kelbourne Woolens Skipper is a 4-ply 100% un-mercerized Tanguis cotton yarn, perfect for knitting, crochet, and crafts. Skipper is made of Peruvian Tanguis cotton, a soft and strong long staple cotton. A delight to work with, Skipper's variable gauge makes it ideal for baby garments, summery tees, amigurumi, accessories, or whatever else you’re hoping to create!
Tanguis cotton is absorbent and wicks moisture better than normal cotton. Its long staple fiber length is less likely to to pill and fluff off on your hands as you work, and is less prone to wrinkling, too! Tanguis cotton is more resistant to cotton wilt, and as a result is more environmentally friendly.
