Quilted Oven Mitt Batting Kit
Need a quick gift for the chef in your life? Make a quilted oven mitt lickety-split!
This kit includes:
2 pieces of 10" x 15" Insul-Bright
2 pieces of 10" x 15" Cotton blend batting
Fabric will need to be purchased separately.
One quarter yard of two different fabrics will be enough for one mitt. (Fat quarters will work.)
One half yard of two different fabrics will be enough to make two mitts.
NOTE: Insul-Bright should NOT go in the microwave
We used Suzy Quilts free tutorial to make our sample, and we layered exterior fabric + Insul-Bright (metallic side facing back of exterior fabric) + cotton batting.Tap here to go to the tutorial.
