DRK Everyday Cardi (4 Sessions, Rooms A & B) - Sold Out
The DRK (DreaReneeKnits) Everyday Cardi is knit from the top down, beginning with the folded collar. It can be worn with either the knit or purl side facing out, with just a few simple tweaks to the directions (which are included in the pattern). The raglan “seams” from the yoke are carried all the way down to the hem of the cardigan. The body is knit flat, and the sleeves are knit in the round. The button band is worked using an applied double knit technique for a beautiful finish.

Heimathafen, by Isabell Kraemer, is worked seamlessly from the top down. The beautiful allover “dip stitch colorwork”-stripe pattern highlights the round yoke construction and results in a classic but modern sailor pullover. Starting with the neck shaping, short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck. The yoke is then worked in the round to sleeve separation. Increases are worked in the main color part of the yoke. The lower part of the yoke is shaped with raglan increases. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold to work the body top down. The 7/8 sleeves (feel free to reduce/add length) are worked top down in rounds to the cuffs. No finishing required.

Lyon Sweater (4 Sessions, Room A)
The Lyon Sweater is worked in fun stripes from the top down. First the top part of the back yoke is worked with increases, then the shoulders are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the slanting sides at the back yoke. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along the sides of the shoulders and the rest of the yoke is worked together on the circular needle, first back and forth and then in the round. The body is worked in the round on a circular needle, and the sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. At the end a folded neck edge with built in double knitting is worked.

If you want to work on something besides a dishcloth but you have no clue how to get there, we can fix that problem with one of the most popular Ravelry patterns! This is a project class for confident beginners that will cover the basic skills you need to bump things up a notch so you can work on more complex projects. During this two-session class, you will use the Sophie Scarf pattern by Petite Knit to learn how to read a pattern, accurately count and track stitches and rows, increase and decrease for shaping, place and use stitch markers, work an i-cord edge, make stripes if you want to use scrap yarn, weave in ends, and lots more you never knew you needed to know. These are basic skills you can use for nearly any knitting project in your future, so come ready to key up your knitting knowledge! NOTE: Please check your schedule before you commit to this class. There is time after the first session for you to work to the halfway point in preparation for the second session.
