Book Club Cardigan (4 Sessions - Rooms A&B)
The Book Club Cardigan has a relaxed fit with dropped shoulders and is knit seamlessly top down with a diamond cable pattern. It is started at the back neck and then increased to the full width of the back. Stitches are picked up along the sloped shoulders for the fronts. The pieces are joined at the underarm and the body is then knitted in one piece. Pockets are added as you work the body of the sweater. The sleeve stitches are then picked up from the body and worked in the round. A double knit button band is then worked for a nice finish. Don't wait to sign up. Class sign ups close one week prior to the first class.

Champagne Cardigan (4 Sessions, Room A)

The Champagne Cardigan is worked from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke and a deep V-neck. The neckline of the cardigan is shaped with short rows by raising the back of the neck. The button plackets are worked in double knitting with buttonholes along the right side. Don't wait to sign up. Class sign ups close one week prior to the first class.

This class will guide you through designing and getting started with the colorwork through sleeve separation, and the remainder of your project can be worked once the last class session is completed. The Festive Yoke Pullover is worked top-down, in the round, and can have yoke-only or all-over colorwork. Choose from 20 charts (deer, hearts, trees, snowmen, presents, bells) to make your sweater as kitsch or as elegant as you want. Description from our instructor, Rebecca: I confess, I was scared of magic loop... but I kept dropping a DPN while knitting socks in the car, in the chair, at the movies, and...in the pew at church. Once I tried it, I was hooked! Come knit Magic Loop Worsted Weight Socks with us in this 2 session class! Why worsted? For instant (or virtually instant) gratification! CLASS PRE-WORK: A swatch of 4"x4" stockinette with your worsted weight yarn using a US 5 needle should be completed prior to Session 1.

Melissa will show you how to knit the vest longer. We have several great DK yarn options in the shop for this design! Construction: The body of the Ramona Vest is knit from the bottom up in the round. The front and back halves are worked flat. Short rows are worked on the shoulders.
