We love Ginger's quilted top so much, we're making our own! Learn how to make simple adjustments to a pattern to create a custom quilted top. You will learn tips for using an existing quilt for a garment! Great for beginners and those in need a refresher alike.

Skill Level:	Beginner
Skill Details:	Appropriate for the advanced beginner. Students must know how to thread and operate their machine and know basic sewing and quilting concepts. Helpful to have already sewn beginner project such as a baby quilt and a simple garment.
Requirements:	Important: Students must bring their own sewing machine to this class, and be confident using it. See the downloadable supply list linked in the class description for all of the requirements and pre-work. It is very important to read the entire document and ask us any questions you might have prior to class.
Instructor:	Jess Zimmerman
Instructor Bio:	Jess has been sewing and quilting most of her life. She never learned to fear silk and charmeuse and sewed garments for her dolls using her mother's scraps. She learned to quilt during college and took a break from sewing for a few years after graduation. During her brief career in nursing, she returned to sewing to decompress on her days off. Now she's a homeschool mom who teaches sewing classes in DFW when she gets the chance. In addition to sewing, she loves bunnies, reading, and tacos.
