Sock Success: Heel Flap and Gusset

Jump into making your first pair of socks! This class will cover the how to make a basic pair of socks from cuff to toe using the classic heel flap and gusset construction. We’ll go over all the components to make your dream pair of socks!
Important: If you need to miss one of the 3 sessions, a make-up session can be scheduled as a private lesson (rates vary per instructor).

| Requirements: | For Fingering weight socks: sock weight yarn (wool and nylon composition optimal) and size 1 needles 9" or 32". For DK weight socks: DK weight yarn (wool and nylon composition optimal) and size 3 needles in 9" or 32". Also bring stitch markers, snips and tapestry needle. |

| Instructor Bio: | Alyssa is a crafty connoisseur! She has yet to met a craft she doesn’t like. She is most experienced as a knitter, but quilting has dominated her brain space since joining the shop team. When knitting, socks are her favorite, but will occasionally pursue a sweater or tee if the right pattern comes along. She is a budding designer with a darling sock pattern available on Ravelry (Be Mine Socks). She loves welcoming new friends at the shop and frequently invites customers to hang out with her during knit nights! Come talk all things crafty with her on Thursday knit nights! |
