Private Class for the Eva Cardigan (4 Sessions)

The Eva Cardigan is worked from the top down. First, the top part of the back yoke is worked back and forth with increases, then the shoulders are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the top of the back yoke. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along the shoulders, and the rest of the yoke is worked on a circular needle and worked with increases for the V-neck. The rest of the body is worked back and forth on a circular needle, and the sleeves are worked in the round. At the end, stitches are picked up and knitted along the front edges and a wide front placket is worked in 2 x 2 rib.

Skill Level:	Intermediate
Skill Details:	Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, and basic increases. Must have knit at least one sweater.
Requirements:	Must purchase Eva Cardigan pattern (by PetiteKnit at shop or Ravelry) and yarn as outlined in pattern. Bring needles and stitch markers, or they can be purchased at the shop.
Instructor:	Melissa Cremer
Instructor Bio:	Melissa is the queen of sweater knitting...not to mention hats, socks, shawls, etc... She has been knitting since before Ravelry, and is a virtual library of popular sweater patterns. She also knows her way around a sewing machine. In addition to knitting, she loves cats and french fries.
