Bitsy Box & Beyond

Take your sewing skills further in this full-day creative workshop! In Bitsy Box and Beyond, students will start with the beloved Bitsy Box and then expand those same core techniques into 3 or more additional projects – each one using similar supplies but resulting in completely different finished makes. This class is all about versatility and creativity. You’ll learn how small changes in construction can lead to big variations in design, giving you the confidence to adapt and experiment with your own future projects. By the end of the day, you’ll have a collection of finished projects and a whole new understanding of how flexible simple bag-making techniques can be.

| Instructor: | Natalie Rawlinson |
| Instructor Bio: | Natalie is the designer and founder of Bodobo Bags patterns. She has been sewing and crafting for as long as she can remember, always drawn to exploring new techniques, material, and creative approaches. She draws much of her inspiration from the people she meets and the creativity they bring to their own projects. Teaching gives her the opportunity to connect with fellow makers, share her passion for sewing and be continually inspired in return. Her sewing journey began with garment making, which she focused on vthrough her mid-twenties before discovering quilting and becoming instantly hooked. Her love of creating eventually led her into bag making, and in 2012 Bodobo Bags was born. Today, her patterns are sold worldwide, with 12 designs currently available and more on the way. |
