Crochet - Granny Square Basics

Granny Squares are everywhere these days – sweaters, jackets, bags! Join us for a two-hour class where we will learn to make these vintage Granny Squares that are back in fashion! Students will create one or two items in class and will take home the pattern for additional practice. Please refer to the requirements for class supplies.

Skill Level:	Intermediate
Skill Details:	This class is intended for students who are comfortable with chaining (ch) and single crochet (sc). It is an ideal next step for someone who has taken the Making Loops class, or someone whose crochet skills are rusty. Skills taught in class: reading patterns, working in the round, double crochet, half-double crochet. Kate & Jennifer are available for private lessons if you require individual instruction.
Requirements:	Size H (5mm) hook, tapestry needle, scissors. Instructors will provide the yarn.

Instructor Bio:	Jennifer and Kate are both experienced crocheters (and novice knitters) who have made many projects for themselves and their homes. They love the craft community at McKinney Knittery and hope to share their crochet knowledge with you during easygoing, fun classes.
