Beginner Crochet - Mug Rug

This class is intended for students who are new to crochet. During the two hour class, students will learn slip-knots, chaining (ch), single crochet (sc), and double crochet (dc). It is also an ideal class to reinforce skills learned in Crochet for Kids: Starting Out. One instructor is left-handed, so leftie craters are encouraged!

Requirements:	Size H (5mm) hook, tapestry needle, scissors. Instructors will provide the yarn.
Instructor:	Jennifer Nicholson and Kate DeSimone
Instructor Bio:	Jennifer firmly believes that discovering new yarn is as fun as crocheting with it! She's a self-taught leftie stitcher who has recently branched out to knitting. Kate is a lifelong crafter who loves to learn. She loves crochet and recently completed her first knit project! Jennifer and Kate have both made many projects for themselves and their homes, and they love the craft community at McKinney Knittery. They hope to share their enthusiasm for crochet and will definitely keep you in stitches (ha!).
