This lecture-style class is for those interested in sewing garments and those in need of a refresher. Learn about measurements, notions and tools, understanding and reading a pattern, and fabrics. Bring a pen and jot down any questions you may have for Jess.

Skill Details:	This is perfect for people who know how to use a sewing machine, but haven't made the leap to their first garment.
Requirements:	Just bring along a pen to take notes on your class handout.
Instructor:	Jess Zimmerman
Instructor Bio:	Jess has been sewing and quilting most of her life. She never learned to fear silk and charmeuse and sewed garments for her dolls using her mother's scraps. She learned to quilt during college and took a break from sewing for a few years after graduation. During her brief career in nursing, she returned to sewing to decompress on her days off. Now she's a homeschool mom who teaches sewing classes in DFW when she gets the chance. In addition to sewing, she loves bunnies, reading, and tacos.
