Skill Level:	Beginner
Skill Details:	Basic sewing skills. Must know how to operate a sewing machine independently, and have some experience with using the machine. Students will learn the box stitch, sewing a zipper, and adding a pocket.
Requirements:	Students must bring their sewing machine, along with the items from the Alpen Bag supply list linked in the class description.
Instructor:	Jess Zimmerman
Instructor Bio:	Jess has been sewing and quilting most of her life. She never learned to fear silk and charmeuse and sewed garments for her dolls using her mother's scraps. She learned to quilt during college and took a break from sewing for a few years after graduation. During her brief career in nursing, she returned to sewing to decompress on her days off. Now she's a homeschool mom who teaches sewing classes in DFW when she gets the chance. In addition to sewing, she loves bunnies, reading, and tacos.
