Charm City Tote (Rooms A&B)
Jess has designed a darling patchwork tote using 5" squares, and wants to come teach us how to make one! A great adventurous beginner's class to learn to sew a quilted tote bag with a welt zipper pocket and ties, as well as how to sew a box stitch and handles.

| Skill Details: | Basic sewing skills. Must know how to operate a sewing machine independently. Students will learn how to sew a quilted tote bag with a welt zipper, pocket, ties and handles. |
| Requirements: | ** PRE-WORK FOR CLASS: you will receive the pattern and a list of PRE-WORK via email when you register for class. Supplies needed includes: 5" squares or any precut or yardage for the main exterior, quilting cotton for lining w/ interior pocket, and your choice of vinyl/leather/oilskin for contrasting exterior pocket. Full list of supplies with yardage requirements will be provided when you register for class. |

| Instructor Bio: | Jess has been sewing and quilting most of her life. She never learned to fear silk and charmeuse and sewed garments for her dolls using her mother's scraps. She learned to quilt during college and took a break from sewing for a few years after graduation. During her brief career in nursing, she returned to sewing to decompress on her days off. Now she's a homeschool mom who teaches sewing classes in DFW when she gets the chance. In addition to sewing, she loves bunnies, reading, and tacos. |
