We are so excited to have Jess as a guest instructor to teach the Tamarack Jacket Puffer Vest Hack using the Tamarack jacket by Grainline Studio. It is made using the bodice pieces of the Tamarack with additional pocket and collar pattern pieces that are provided in class. *Note - there is also an optional morning prep session available if you would like Jess to guide you to prepare your patchwork pieces and/or you need help with sizing and pattern prep. Register for the optional Puffer Vest Prep session separately.

| Skill Details: | Must know how to read a pattern, take measurements, and operate a sewing machine independently. Must have sewn a garment and understand basic sewing terminology. Will learn how to construct a puffer vest, sew a collar, and insert side pockets to any pattern. Basic quilting skills a plus, but if you haven't quilted prior, this is a great introduction! |

| Instructor Bio: | Jess has been sewing and quilting most of her life. She never learned to fear silk and charmeuse and sewed garments for her dolls using her mother's scraps. She learned to quilt during college and took a break from sewing for a few years after graduation. During her brief career in nursing, she returned to sewing to decompress on her days off. Now she's a homeschool mom who teaches sewing classes in DFW when she gets the chance. In addition to sewing, she loves bunnies, reading, and tacos. |
