Stripe Hype
Have fun with color and knit the Stripe Hype Sweater with Melissa! It is worked in a DK weight yarn with one main base color and 5 contrasting colors. This is an invitation to practice developing a color palette. *Note: If you’ve got a lot of fingering weight yarn in your stash, you can even hold 2 strands of fingering weight yarn double to get the DK weight.
The work begins by working the back flat, then stitches are picked up for the left and right front separately and worked flat. The back and front are then joined together and the body is worked in the round. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and worked in the round and lastly stitches are picked up around the neckline and the collar is worked in a twisted rib stitch. This is a 4-session class.

| Skill Details: | Must be comfortable with casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, knitting in the round, and binding off. Learn how to knit a fun striped pullover. | Requirements: | Stripe Hype pattern by Veronika Lindberg (can be purchased in shop), DK yarn for your size, needles to obtain gauge and basic knitting supplies. An email will be sent one week before class outlining gauge swatch homework. |

She has been knitting since before Ravelry, and is a virtual library of popular sweater patterns. She also knows her way around a sewing machine.
