Lyon Sweater (4 Sessions)
The Lyon Sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke. The sweater yoke construction is a unique method of shaping without short rows and Melissa will walk students through it. Another feature of this project is working a contiguous shoulder/sleeve, working stripes using the jogless method. Class will cover the folded neck edge.

| Skill Details: | Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, and basic increases. Must have knit at least one sweater. Will learn how to choose a correct size based on swatch, pick up stitches, create a folded neck band and knit jogless stripes. |
| Requirements: | Must purchase Lyon Sweater pattern (by PetiteKnit at shop or Ravelry) and yarn. Bring needles and stitch markers, or they can be purchased at the shop. |

She has been knitting since before Ravelry, and is a virtual library of popular sweater patterns. She also knows her way around a sewing machine. In addition to knitting, she loves cats and french fries. |
