Get Knitting: Creative Cables

We will cover how to work different types of cables from both written and charted sources. You will be able to show off all your new skills on a sweet-and-sassy clutch purse project. Whether you are a brave beginner or a seasoned expert, you will find this class a refreshing and fun challenge. Come cable your cares away!

Requirements: | Size 9 or 10 knitting needles (bigger is okay, but nothing smaller), straight or circulars in any length 109 yards of smooth, solid colored chunky weight (#5) yarn (no single plies and nothing textured, please) - this is enough to make the clutch purse project 1 medium sized cable needle (recommend bent of U-shaped) Your creative can-do-attitude |

Instructor Bio: | Lynette is a cable-obsessed sweater knitter and professional sewist. She lives in Dallas, TX with her husband Dan and their menagerie of rescued animals. She tutors private students and teaches knitting, sewing and jewelry making classes all across the DFW area. Lynette loves teaching, inspiring and encouraging makers of all ages so they can feed their souls with the best kind of fiber. |
