Creative Stitching with Jill Version 2.0 (5 Sessions)
Join us for an adventure in embroidery! If you love the look of Sue Spargo’s wool projects or just want to enhance your embroidery skills, then this is the class for you. We will make a Japanese Rice Bag, needle book and pincushion as we work through Sue’s Creative Stitching book. We will learn about different needles, explore the use of different threads, and learn to emboss velvet. The pattern for the bag, needle book and pincushion will be provided in class, and you can choose to make it using your choice of background and embellish with a combination of linen, cottons, velvets, and wool. Class is suitable for beginners and intermediate stitchers.

| Requirements: | Creative Stitching book, Japanese rice bag, needle book and pincushion patterns (provided in class), Creative Stitching needle pack, including labels, 3/4 yard of denim or other fabric for your background, 3/4 yard of fusible fleece Wool thread to match the wool used for your circles, Velvet, wool, and/or cotton for flowers, circles, and patches Various threads for embellishment, such as Eleganza, Silken Pearl, Painters Threads, and silk ribbon Scissors Pencil/Chalk pencil | Applique pins | Freezer paper |

| Instructor Bio: | Jill learned to embroider from her grandmother when she was 8 years old and has loved it ever since! She loves color and texture, and finding ways to incorporate that into her work. She also loves art and music. |
