Ready to take the next step in your knitting journey? Join us as we knit the beloved Sophie Scarf by PetiteKnit! This class is perfect for confident beginners who are ready to build new skills while creating a timeless accessory. Want to make yours extra special? I’ll also show you how to create a beautiful striped version using two different yarns. Striping is completely optional, but highly encouraged! Whether you choose Spincycle or mix and match any two yarns you love, it’s a fun way to create a one-of-a-kind scarf. Over the course of two sessions, you’ll learn how to confidently read a knitting pattern, count and track stitches and rows, increase and decrease for shaping, place and use stitch markers, work a polished i-cord edge, create clean stripes, weave in ends, and pick up plenty of helpful knitting tips along the way. These foundational techniques will give you the confidence to tackle countless knitting projects in the future. Please note: Between the first and second class, you’ll have time to knit independently to the designated stopping point so you’ll be ready for the next session.
