Personalize an Easter Basket with Kendra (Rooms A&B)
Come learn how to embellish an adorable Easter Basket using some basic hand embroidery stitches using chunky yarn. Kendra will provide the basket, so all you need to do is buy your yarn color(s) of choice here at the shop. We suggest Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn for this project. NOTE: If you register for this class, Kendra needs to know the NAME and CURSIVE OR PRINT for your design prior to class. DRK Everyday Cardi (4 Sessions, Rooms A & B) - Sold Out
The DRK (DreaReneeKnits) Everyday Cardi is knit from the top down, beginning with the folded collar. It can be worn with either the knit or purl side facing out, with just a few simple tweaks to the directions (which are included in the pattern). The raglan “seams” from the yoke are carried all the way down to the hem of the cardigan. The body is knit flat, and the sleeves are knit in the round. The button band is worked using an applied double knit technique for a beautiful finish.

If you are brand new to crochet or have not touched a hook in years, this class was designed for you! What you will learn: crochet terminology; how to tie a slip knot, hold a crochet hook, and tension yarn; how to chain stitch (ch), single crochet stitch (sc), and work in rows; how to count stitches and weave in ends. This class is for students who are 14+ years old. NOTE: Please let us know if you are left handed - the instructor will make a foundation row in preparation for class and needs this information.

Stitch a Story (Room A)
This class will be in 2 sessions. We will be honoring past textiles by stitching vintage fabrics, quilt pieces, doilies, crochet, and embroideries to a scroll of fabric. A vintage spool will be provided as well as the textiles. Our stitched scroll will be wound around the spool and will stand as a tribute to the makers. Basic embroidery stitches are not a must but will be helpful. The second session, we will continue the stitching story with more additions. Our scroll will be wound around the spool with a tie.

The beautiful allover “dip stitch colorwork”-stripe pattern highlights the round yoke construction and results in a classic but modern sailor pullover. Starting with the neck shaping, short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck. The yoke is then worked in the round to sleeve separation. Increases are worked in the main color part of the yoke. The lower part of the yoke is shaped with raglan increases. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold to work the body top down. The 7/8 sleeves (feel free to reduce/add length) are worked top down in rounds to the cuffs. No finishing required.

Lyon Sweater (4 Sessions, Room A)
The Lyon Sweater is worked in fun stripes from the top down. First the top part of the back yoke is worked with increases, then the shoulders are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the slanting sides at the back yoke. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along the sides of the shoulders and the rest of the yoke is worked together on the circular needle, first back and forth and then in the round. The body is worked in the round on a circular needle, and the sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. At the end a folded neck edge with built in double knitting is worked.
