Need a unique Christmas exchange gift or a heartfelt gift for a loved one? Join Ann in her Christmas class where you will make recipe tags decorated for the holidays!! Following the holiday theme we will decorate 5 tags with select recipes and add some holiday embellishments. In addition to the tags you will decorate a gift holder for the tags!! Get in the holiday spirit and let the festivities begin!
Crochet Corner: Ami X-mas Tree
Ready to put your newly minted amigurumi skills to use? This little striped Christmas Tree is an excellent first project. During the 3 hour class, we will cover: the magic ring/circle, changing color, carrying yarn, alternative methods of increasing and decreasing, as well as, tips and tricks specific to amigurumi style crochet. It takes the instructor almost 2 hours to crochet a tree, so it's possible that some students may need to finish their project at home. The goal of the class is to make sure everyone leaves with the amigurumi skills they need to complete their project and to have gained confidence to try more advanced beginner patterns.

The goal of the class is to prepare students for their first amigurumi project. There will be several examples of simple first projects on display during class, including a Globe Garland made with 16 balls in different sizes and colors. Students will receive the pattern for the garland and a resource list as part of their class handout to help them as they practice at home.

This is a follow-on class to beginning crochet (a prerequisite for this class) to build foundation skills for project work. Students are required to already be able to chain and work the single crochet stitch confidently. In this class, students will learn how to join in the round to work and accurately count single crochet stitches for circular projects. If time allows, we will introduce a double crochet stitch. Please refer to the Requirements section for necessary class supplies.

Drizzle Sweater (4 Sessions)

Eva Cardigan (4 Sessions)
The Eva Cardigan is worked from the top down. First, the top part of the back yoke is worked back and forth with increases, then the shoulders are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the top of the back yoke. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along the shoulders, and the rest of the yoke is joined on a circular needle and worked with increases for the V-neck. The rest of the body is worked back and forth on a circular needle, and the sleeves are worked in the round. At the end, stitches are picked up and knitted along the front edges and a wide front placket is worked in 2 x 2 rib. Don't wait to sign up. Class sign ups close one week prior to the first class.

Come learn to knit in the round! In this class, you will learn how to cast on loosely, join, and work on circular needles in the round to make the Simple Yet Effective cowl from Tin Can Knits. We will use DK or worsted weight yarn to work stockinette and reverse stockinette stitches in the round. You can add in some seed stitch or yarn overs for eyelets once you get the hang of things if you feel ambitious. You will also learn tips for joining, marker placement, and binding off. Going around and around is fun and relaxing, so come treat yourself to this new skill!
