Come learn how to embellish an adorable Easter Basket using some basic hand embroidery stitches using chunky yarn. Kendra will provide the basket, so all you need to do is buy your yarn color(s) of choice here at the shop. We suggest Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn for this project. NOTE: If you register for this class, Kendra needs to know the NAME and CURSIVE OR PRINT for your design prior to class. The DRK (DreaReneeKnits) Everyday Cardi is knit from the top down, beginning with the folded collar. It can be worn with either the knit or purl side facing out, with just a few simple tweaks to the directions (which are included in the pattern). The raglan “seams” from the yoke are carried all the way down to the hem of the cardigan. The body is knit flat, and the sleeves are knit in the round. The button band is worked using an applied double knit technique for a beautiful finish.

(For Adult Learners) Crochet baskets are fun to make and easy to customize. This class focuses on the basic techniques and formulas needed to make baskets in many different shapes and sizes. Students will make two small baskets: one with handles and one without. The instructor will have a variety of baskets (and a few bags) on display made using different yarn weights. Patterns and yarn recommendations will be shared in the class materials.
