Magic Loop Socks (2 Session Class, Room A)

Description from our instructor, Rebecca: I confess, I was scared of magic loop... but I kept dropping a DPN while knitting socks in the car, in the chair, at the movies, and...in the pew at church. Once I tried it, I was hooked! Come knit Magic Loop Worsted Weight Socks with us in this 2 session class! Why worsted? For instant (or virtually instant) gratification!   CLASS PRE-WORK: A swatch of 4"x4" stockinette with your worsted weight yarn using a US 5 needle should be completed prior to Session 1. The stitch gauge for this class is 22 over 4" (row count doesn't matter).

Alpine Bloom (4 Sessions, Rooms A&B)

Crochet

(For Adult Learners) Are you a beginning crocheter who’s curious about all the crochet stuffed animals--like The Woobles--that keep popping up in ads on TikTok and IG? Those cute crochet creatures are called amigurumi and they are seriously fun to make. Join us for a two-hour class to learn the basic techniques that all amigurumi patterns use. Students will crochet one to two pieces in the round from start to finish. The goal of the class is to prepare students for their first amigurumi project. There will be several examples of simple first projects on display during class, including a Globe Garland made with balls in different sizes and colors. Students will receive the pattern for the garland and a resource list as part of their class handout to help them as they practice at home.

Cost: $ 45.00
(For Adult Learners) Crochet baskets are fun to make and easy to customize. This class focuses on the basic techniques and formulas needed to make baskets in many different shapes and sizes. Students will make at least one small basket each class session. The instructor will have a variety of baskets (and a few bags) made using different yarn weights. Patterns and yarn recommendations will be shared at the end of each class session.

Cost: $ 60.00
In this two-class series, you will learn to make a Daisy Granny Square bag just in time for summer! The first class will focus on learning the base granny square. We’ll take a three-week break to allow for completion of all bag components. In the second class you will learn how to put everything together for a complete bag!

Cost: $ 60.00
Students will create a fun Windspinner project that they can hang from a tree...or in their room! A sample is coming to the shop soon. One instructor is left-handed, so leftie crafters needn't be scared! For Ages 10+.

Cost: $ 35.00
If you are brand new to crochet or have not touched a hook in years, this class was designed for you! What you will learn: crochet terminology; how to tie a slip knot, hold a crochet hook, and tension yarn; how to chain stitch (ch), single crochet stitch (sc), and work in rows; how to count stitches and weave in ends. This class is for students who are 14+ years old. NOTE: Please let us know if you are left handed - the instructor will make a foundation row in preparation for class and needs this information.

Cost: $ 45.00
This is a scheduled class for a private lesson. If interested in a private class, please contact the shop so we can contact the instructor(s) on your behalf.
