She will share her tips and tricks with you to make this a Gnome for All Seasons (knit one body, beard, and nose, then switch out cap and legs as desired!) The first session will cover the cap and body with the second covering beard, nose, legs and construction. This can be the perfect stash buster or an opportunity to get those oh so dreamy self-striping yarns! Required pattern: Someone To Write Gnome About by Sarah Schira. https://ravel.me/someone-to-write-gnome-about

If you have always wanted to learn cable knitting but have been too hesitant, now is the time to get brave! In this class you will learn how knitted cable stitches are worked and how to read both cable instructions and cable charts. We will keep it simple, using a hat pattern that is worked flat. No need to know how to work in the round! It will have a tiny bit of shaping at the crown, but we will cover those decreases in class so you can knit with confidence. If you prefer to keep things even simpler, you can work the cable pattern without the ribbing or shaping to make a pillow top or blanket block. It is totally up to you, but either way, sign up now to conquer cablephobia!

The Eva Cardigan is worked from the top down. First, the top part of the back yoke is worked back and forth with increases, then the shoulders are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the top of the back yoke. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along the shoulders, and the rest of the yoke is joined on a circular needle and worked with increases for the V-neck. The rest of the body is worked back and forth on a circular needle, and the sleeves are worked in the round. At the end, stitches are picked up and knitted along the front edges and a wide front placket is worked in 2 x 2 rib. Don't wait to sign up. Class sign ups close one week prior to the first class.
